Reception have been thoroughly enjoying our ‘All About Me’ topic, discovering more about themselves and the wonderful people in our class!

The children loved sharing their special All About Me bags, bringing in meaningful items that told us more about their favourite things, likes, dislikes, interests and what makes them unique. It was lovely to see everyone listening carefully, asking questions and learning something new about their friends.

Through our discussions, we explored how we are all different and how we each have our own interests, talents, experiences and things that make us special. The children learned that we do not all have to like the same things to be friends, and that our differences are something to celebrate!

We are so proud of how Reception are learning to appreciate one another, show kindness and respect, and understand that everyone belongs in our school family.
