Our Year 1 children have been busy getting their hands in the soil as they planted beautiful lavender in our  Prayer Garden!

The children loved getting involved, carefully planting their lavender and exploring its wonderful, calming scent. It was a lovely opportunity to spend time outdoors, learn about caring for plants and discover how we can help our garden grow and flourish.

As part of our Catholic faith, we reflected on how God has given us such a beautiful world to enjoy and how we all have a responsibility to care for His creation. 🌍🙏 Through planting and looking after our lavender, the children are learning that even the smallest actions can make a big difference in protecting and nurturing God's wonderful Earth.

We are so proud of our Year 1 gardeners for helping to make our Prayer Garden an even more peaceful and beautiful place to pray, reflect and spend time with God.

A little planting, a lot of love, and a beautiful reminder to care for God's creation!
