Year 4 have been celebrating the International Day of Peace by reflecting on what peace means to them and how we can help create a more peaceful world.
The children loved exploring this important theme and were given the task of creating their own drawings to show what peace looks like through their eyes. They thoughtfully considered the things that bring peace into our lives, from friendship, love and kindness to feeling safe, included and cared for.
It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as they expressed their ideas through art, showing that peace can mean something different to everyone.
As a school community, we are reminded that peace begins with the little things we do every day: showing kindness, respecting one another, forgiving others and helping everyone feel that they belong.
Together, we can be the change we wish to see in the world
