The Year 3 team would like to warmly welcome you to a brand new school year at St Monica’s.

This year marks an exciting new chapter in your child's learning journey as they move from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

In Year 3, our children will continue to build upon their learning from Key Stage 1 and will continue to develop their independence, confidence and enjoyment in learning. 

Our classrooms are calm, safe, and happy learning spaces where children are encouraged to think critically and deeply by asking questions, exploring fascinating topics, and celebrating their achievements. We will be enjoying a wide range of learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom – from reading, writing, problem-solving, and Science, to exploring the wonders of our past, the world around us, and most importantly, ourselves.
