Zones of Regulation - Nursery
In Nursery we are using Zones of Regulation to support us to recognise and name the emotions we are feeling. When we have recognised the emotion we are feeling we use visuals to identify the zone in which we are in.
We have discussed ways we can regulate our emotions and the different strategies we can use:
- Have a hug
- Use our calm corner
- Look at a book
- Deep breathing
- Colour a picture
- Sit quietly
