Anti Bullying Week
Anti-Bullying Week
The week of the 13th-17th November involved our pupils celebrating Anti-Bullying Week. We celebrated it in our classes as well as a whole school. In our PSHE lessons, we learnt about bullying and what to do if we suspect it. Each year group had a specified objective linked to their topic of 'Celebrating Difference' in PSHE. We joined in with Odd Socks Day which allowed us to embrace each other's differences. Diversity is our Superpower!
On Friday, we gathered for a whole school assembly to celebrate our learning across the week. Each year group presented their learning to the whole school and we had some fantastic Anti-Bullying posters created by our pupils.
St Monica's have definitely "Made a noise about Bullying" this week!
St Monica's Class Rules
Each class has their St Monica's rules displayed. This ensures for happy and harmonious classrooms and for the best learning to happen. We show these rules within our classrooms, corridors and playgrounds. We have been learning about the importance of the British Value - Rule of Law with Mr Gouldbourne and our class teachers.
