Safeguarding
Safeguarding at St. Monica's Catholic Primary School
Our school is committed to safeguarding children and promoting children’s welfare and expects all staff, governors, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment and maintain a vigilant and safe environment.
Everyone has a responsibility to act, without delay, to protect children by reporting anything that might suggest a child is being abused or neglected. The school seeks to work in partnership with families and other agencies to improve the outcomes for all children.
Our team meets on a daily basis to ensure up to date forensic knowledge of any safeguarding issues in our school. We utilise the CPOMS system, which enables us to log all safeguarding, attendance, behavioural incidents, look for patterns and triangulate responses.
Our Safeguarding Team
In school, we have several members of senior staff, who are responsible for ensuring that our Safeguarding policies, practices and procedures are implemented and maintained; known as the Safeguarding Team. If you have any concerns or worries about any children, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the school’s Safeguarding Team.
