On Tuesday 3rd October, St Monica's pupils celebrated Careers Day. The pupils were given the opportunity to explore the many opportunities available to them in the future. The day was filled with excitement all the way from Nursery to Year 6. Each year group had a visitor come into their class to tell them about their career; their career path, important skills and general advice they would give. The range of careers who visited us included: a police officer, a widwife, a child pyschologist, a solicitor, a digital programme manager, a hairdresser, a careers advisor, a civil servant, a scientist, a medicine dispenser and an operations manager. We were inspired by all of the different careers and have used this day to embrace our diverse dreams for our futures. We will visit our careers and goals in our PSHE topic 'Dreams and Goals' in Spring term.
